Easton Communications has an exceptional career opportunity for an aggressive sales professional.Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager, the primary objective of this position is consistent achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue targets and margin quotas through development and closing of new business. This translates to the following specific responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities in the small to medium-size business market in Winnipeg and surrounding areas through outside sales activities such as networking, cold-calling, prospecting, planning and relationship building
  • Develop and implement an effective sales plan using a consultative sales strategy to effectively communicate Easton’s value proposition to prospective clients
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Work closely with the Operations and Pre-Sales teams to develop a complete Unified Communications solution, unique to each prospect’s needs and environment
  • Generate proposals, make presentations and perform product demonstrations as well as responding to RFP’s as required

 

Requirements:
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and driven to generate new leads through various prospecting methods
  • Strong closer with proven track record in sales
  • Willingness and ability to learn and master new technologies
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team

 

The ideal candidate would possess:
  • Experience in the Telecom and/or Information Technology industries
  • A strong technical background with an understanding of telecommunications , networking and the internet
  • Post-secondary education in sales/marketing or technology
